The Colorado Chamber of Commerce released its Top 10 Coolest Things Made in Colorado list, and HapWare was included on the list! This recognition means a great deal to us, not only because it puts our technology alongside incredible local innovations, but also because it shines a spotlight on the needs and talents of the blind and low vision community. Thank you to the Chamber and to everyone who continues to support our journey.

The HapWare Unboxing Experience

Recently, we shared an inside look at the HapWare unboxing experience. This sneak peek gave our community a feel for what it is like to open the product for the first time. From the moment the package arrives to the instant the device is held in hand, every detail is designed to be intuitive, accessible, and exciting. We want the first interaction with HapWare to be as empowering as the technology itself.

HapWare on 9News

We are thrilled to be featured on 9News sharing our mission and the story behind our wearable assistive technology. The segment highlighted the passion of our team and the ways our product supports individuals who are blind and low vision. Moments like this remind us why we do what we do and how important it is to keep innovating for accessibility and independence

HapWare Highlight: Alienette

This month’s HapWare Highlight is Alienette Coldfire, also known as Katchry Jewel Golbin. She is a Filipina blind singer who placed 3rd in France’s Got Talent in December 2016 and has been captivating audiences ever since. We first discovered her stunning voice in a TikTok performance of Once Upon a December, and we were instantly hooked. With 2.3 million followers and over 35 million likes on TikTok, Alienette uses technology and social media to share her artistry with the world. Her story is a reminder that barriers can be broken and dreams can be achieved.

Final Thoughts

As we continue to test and refine our product, we are grateful for the community of innovators, testers, and supporters who help us move forward. Thank you for being part of the HapWare journey.
